In the final battle of part one, Burin’s greatest fear is unleashed, and Raiken makes a huge sacrifice to save Arda.
The Battle at the Wild Waves was fought at the Grey Havens in 2954 when the Umbarian corsairs besiege Cîrdan and his kin. The Nos Glanadur arrive, mid-battle, just as the Shadow appears to threaten everything both east and west of the Belegaer.
The heroes travel from the Old Forest, over the Brandywine Bridge into the Shire, and on to Tower Hills. There they pick up the Horn of Thorondor to aid them in their upcoming battle at the Grey Havens.
Bear comes back from the Undying Lands, as Grimald (now Grimmyrnoth the werewolf) bites almost everyone in the party. Join the end of the battle as the heroes decide where to go next.
Having left the Prancing Pony, the group travels quickly to Lindon via the Great East Road. North of Old Forest the group realizes quickly that the now deceased werewolf, Taurmyrnoth, has gotten the last laugh, having infected Burin’s apprentice.
After the ritual the fellowship trails the shadow through Tharbad. At the Greyflood, they encounter Estel, the Dúnedain, and a creature akin to the Watcher at the Westgate of Moria.
With Raiken dying on the plains of Rohan, the group decides to do Taradon’s ritual. The good news is that Raiken is healed. The bad news is that the group released a shadow maiar from the void.
In our most inappropriate episode to date, the characters finish off the last of the enemies at the Fords of Isen. Meanwhile, the players lose their minds after a called shot to a very sensitive region.
When the party decided to put off doing Taradon’s ritual, Saruman found a way to force their hand. Our heroes are sandwiched at the Fords of Isen between more Umbarians, trying to recover their lost equipment, and the prototype Uruk-hai. One of them has a Morgul blade… Enough said.
